The glow-in-the-dark fabric is made of ultra fine fiber, woven directly with synthetic fibers. Fibers are specially treated to emit light along their length (lateral emission fibers). The fiber is then connected to an LED (the edge hidden at the edge of the fabric or track) to inject light into the tissue. The fabric is waterproof and washable. Fiber optic fabrics are also more durable than traditional synthetic fabrics. Users can use an AC 110/220 volt adapter for stationary applications or batteries (disposable or rechargeable) for power supply. (RGB) Different colors can be mixed in the same fabric to create a very distinctive visual effect.
